Ronan Keating to present new Magic 105.4 show

Popstar Ronan Keating is to present a new weekly show on Magic 105.4 every Sunday from 2-4pm, starting on 10 January 2010.

The new show will feature celebrity interviews and a mix of music chosen by Ronan and Magic 105.4 listeners.The new show will be accompanied by a microsite to encourage listener interactivity and song requests.

The latest RAJAR figures, for the third quarter of 2009, show that Magic 105.4 had the largest weekly reach of all the London stations for the eleventh consecutive quarter.

Steve Parkinson, MD of Magic 105.4 said: “Feedback from Magic 105.4 listeners tells us that Ronan is incredibly popular as both a personality and a singer/songwriter. We are delighted to reveal Ronan as our latest presenter who joins Kim Wilde on Sundays, creating something new and unique for the weekend.”

Magic 105.4 has also announced an exclusive three month campaign for Tourism Ireland, with their consumer facing brand Discover Ireland sponsoring Keating’s new show through to April 2010.
