RRN Leaves Newspaper Society

Reed Regional Newspapers has withdrawn its titles as members of the Newspaper Society as predicted towards the end of last year (Newsline 21/9). Reed’s orginal argument was that it could not justify the society’s fees when the newspaper publisher could provide most of the services itself. RRN fees amounted to over £130,000 per year.
