Saatchi May Resign

Disagreements at the Saatchis board may mean the resignation of its chief. Maurice Saatchi has said that if the name of the advertising group’s holding company is changed to exclude Saatchi, the founder and executive chairman may resign. Non-executive directors want to change the name; the issue is likely to come to a head on Friday at a board meeting. Other issues to be discussed will include Maurice Saatchi’s controversial option package.
