Saatchi & Saatchi has announced the appointment of John Fitzgerald as President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for worldwide operations. John Fitzgerald joins from McCann-Erickson, where he was Chairman and CEO of McCann-Erickson Japan.
Fitzgerald will be responsible for new business, finance and profitability, reporting to Ed Wax, Chairman. Bob Seelert, recently appointed Chief Executive of Cordiant said, “This is an important appointment for Saatchi & Saatchi. John Fitzgerald brings with him both excellent management skills and a worldwide client track record. We are very fortunate to have secured an executive of his standing.”
