Sales Revenue Doubled At NBC
Pan European broadcaster NBC has beaten its 1995 advertising sales success with 102% revenue growth for business booked on the channel in 1996.
The increased advertising growth is due to a combination of existing advertisers returning to the channel and new business from blue chip advertisers. This is reflected by a 50% increase in brand count of the advertisers on air between January and June compared to the same period in 1995.
Alan Bryson, director of sales, commented: “NBC is favoured by top calibre companies because it delivers a large-scale AB demographic audience with high disposable incomes. The channel continues to grow in the marketplace and that is translated through an increase in sales revenue and brand count.”
