The chief product officer of Omnicom Media Group UK, Sam d’Amato, has left the group to explore new opportunities after 17 years with the company.
After joining OMG as a graduate at OMD UK in 2002, he has held a number of senior roles within the group – including chief strategy officer at M2M and chief innovation officer at Hearts & Science UK.
He has held the chief product officer role at OMG UK for the past two years, developing products across the group.
“It has been a privilege to work at OMG UK over the last 17 years. I have learned so much from the hugely talented people I have worked with from OMD to Hearts & Science and the wider Group,” d’Amato said.
“I will forever be thankful to all, and proud of what we built and achieved. To say I am excited about my next adventure is an understatement.”
Meanwhile, OMG UK’s CEO, Dan Clays, added: “Over the past 17 years Sam has played an important role across Omnicom Media Group UK in a number of senior strategic roles.
“I have had the pleasure of working alongside Sam for several years, his energy and passion is infectious, and on behalf of everyone at OMG UK, I wish him the best of luck for the future and have no doubt he will be successful in which ever venture he turns his hand to.”
