Scotland Today – Price War

Scotland Today – Price War

Today is launching a Scottish edition of its daily paper from today. It has gone on sale today at the special price of 10p; the planned price for the next few months is 20p, 5p less than the usual cover price. In a spoiler move the Daily Mirror is also cutting its price to 10p just in Scotland.

Scotland Today will carry Scottish news and sports, but the features and columns within the main bulk of the paper will be as the rest of the country.

Although it will not be possible to buy just Scottish space, a Scottish split will be available whereby to run different copy for Scotland will incur a 10% surcharge on ratecard.
