Scottish Media Group Makes Further SRH Acquisition

Scottish Media Group (SMG) has once again increased its stake in Scottish Radio Holdings (SRH) with the acquisition of 150,600 shares, representing 0.5% of the company’s issued share capital, for £2.3m.

This is the latest in a series of purchases of SRH stock which began last December (see SMG Builds Scottish Radio Stake To 27.7%) and brings the SMG’s total holding to just under 9.5m ordinary shares, 28.5% of issued share capital.

By lunchtime today shares in SMG were down 7p on yesterday’s closing price, at £1.90½p, while SRH had fallen £1.00 to £13.75.
