Scottish Radio Holdings plc has released its interim results for the six months ending 31 March 1997.
James Gordan CBE, chairman, said: “These results set new records for SRH in terms of both profit and earnings per share. Particularly pleasing has been the performance of recent acquisitions in both radio and local weekly newspapers” Turnover was up 37% to £18.3 million, operating profits rose 38% to £4.5 million. As a result, earnings per share increased by 24% to 10.8p.
