The Scottish Rugby Union yesterday announced a four year agreement worth over £1m with The Famous Grouse Scotch Whisky company.
They are the first of the home unions to adopt a sponsor for the national team. In each year of the agreement, half the money will go to the international players’ trust and the other half to the development of the game in Scotland.
