Sections’95 Fills Gap – IPA Approval
Sections’95, the recent research published by Leo Burnett, Express Newspapers and the COI has been given the IPA Seal of Approval.
The IPA commented, “The survey was well executed and planned, the questionnaire design was imaginative, and as noted the prompts to help respondents identify the sections correctly were ideal. The survey fills a large part of a prominent gap in our knowledge, and its importance is underlined by the high level of advertising expenditure which finds its way into newspaper sections”.
Highlights of the section research include that the Daily Mail Weekend is the best read section, followed by the Guardian Weekend section. It also showed that Saturday sections were better read than the Sunday sections.
