Cordiant plc has ended its 6-month search for a new chief executive following the departure of Maurice Saatchi, by appointing Bob Seelert. Bob joins after a career with the General Foods Corporation, and more recently Kayser-Roth Corporation and Topco Associates. He has experience in advertising from the client perspective, and according to the statement, “will add extra and important dimensions to both the Cordiant board and its Group management”.
Bob Seelert will divide his time between the Group’s New York and London offices, and will work closely with Charlie Scott, who relinquishes his former role as chief executive to become full time chairman.
Cordiant will announce its interim results for the 6-months to June 30 on Tuesday August 8.
