September ABCs – Observer Revamp
The Observer’s new look, which launched on the 4th September appears to be a success. The Observer’s September circulation figure is up by 9% on August to 476,639. This is the highest month on month increase of any of the national newspapers and represents the Observer’s highest circulation since last November.
The Guardian’s August drop appears to have been a holiday blip, increasing by 6% for September to 398,299. The same seems to be true for the Financial Times, up by 5% on August to 295,520.
Virtually all national papers increased their circulations on August, apart from the Daily Mirror, the Daily Record, the People and the Sunday Telegraph.
