Sharewatch: Radio Groups Falter Ahead Of RAJAR Release
The radio sector was in focus yesterday as analysts made forecasts over the release of today’s RAJAR radio audience figures for the second quarter of 2003.
Capital Radio was seen under pressure after Bridgewell Securities cut profits and earning forecasts for the group ahead of the release of today’s RAJAR results. The stock was seen down 3.06%.
Emap also suffered from such negative predictions and its stock fell 1.44%.
Elsewhere the market was in a subdued mood following British Airways disastrous loss, investors were seen pondering exactly why executive pay has risen 23% over the past year.
