United News & Media had a fairly bad week on the stock market last week. At the start of the week the company’s share price stood at 663.5p before falling to 646p on Friday. Rivals Southnews had a slightly better week increasing from 446.5p on Monday to 450p on Friday.
BSkyB didn’t fair too well this week falling from 501.5p at the start of week to 476p at the end. YTT TV continues to lose favour among buyers who had hoped that it would become part of the Granada group. At the beginning of the previous week, the week ending December 6th, its share price stood above 1300p. At the close on trading on Friday last week its share price was down to 1237p.
