SIS, the company that supplies bookmakers with live horse racing looks set to launch a cable channel. The channel would broadcast live coverage of horse races, with specialist analysis and the assessment of form.
It will probably take the form of a stand alone subscription channel costing the viewers about £5 per week and will be available only via cable. A spokesperson at SIS confirmed the venture, but said the channel was still in a developmental stage. Qualitative research is still being carried out.
