Sky Launches £100m Autumn Schedule
Sky Television has today announced its new £100m autumn season, to start from Sunday 24 September. There will be a new look for the nine channels, as well as a new corporate identity.
Sky One’s highlights include new home-produced series such as Just Kidding, Jeopardy and Sunday Night, Sunday Morning; from America is Star Trek: Voyager, returning favourites include Highlander and Chicago Hope.
Sky Sports will include live coverage of the 1995 Johnnie Walker Ryder Cup, FA Carling Premiership and England Internationals, England’s Cricket tour of South Africa and various boxing fights, as well as rugby and basketball.
Top films this autumn include Jurassic Park, Mrs Doubtfire, Philadelphia and The Pelican Brief. In November Sky’s 100 Great Movies will bring together a mix of recent blockbusters and classics to celebrate 100 years of film.
From today there is a new weeknight current affairs programme, Tonight with Adam Boulton, at 6.30pm on Sky News.
