Sky TV has linked up with American Express’ Travellers Cheques and Foreign Exchange Mail Order Unit to create ‘Sky Travel Money Direct’, a television holiday money ordering service for its customers.
The new service, part of Sky’s ‘Interactive Text’ function, is now available to a potential 4.6 million homes and will allow users to order between £20 and £2,200 worth of travel money at a time. Users will be able to place their orders with the American Express Mail-Order Unit via the teletext service which is available on Sky One, Sky News, Sky Sports and both Movie channels.
