David Rhodes and Jonathan Levy have been appointed to a new Sky News Group leadership structure.

Rhodes will become executive chairman for Sky News Group and be responsible for Sky News’ services across the EMEA region. He will focus on the “development of a long-term commercial strategy” for Sky News UK and TG24 in Italy, and report to Cecile Frot-Coutaz, CEO of Sky Studios.

Rhodes first joined Sky as group director of international business development from News UK in 2021. He spent eight years as president of CBS News and has also held leadership and advisory positions at Bloomberg Television, the LA Times, Spotify, and BCG.

Levy has been promoted to managing director and executive editor of Sky News UK. He has been director of newsgathering and operations at Sky since 2011 and was previously head of politics.
