The weather on Sky News is to be sponsored by Tulip; Sky News will include the Tulip Computers sponsorship credits on all opening and closing weather credits as well as on the Sky News menus.
The deal, which covers the hourly weather forecasts, will include four different sequences of credits, one for each season. Mark Wood, Sky Television’s Head of Sponsorship said, “We are delighted with this agreement. It represents the effectiveness of sponsorship in attracting advertisers who are not only new to Sky, but to television generally. We look forward to developing our relationship with Tulip into non-traditional areas, such as text and intertext.”
