Sky Signs Radio News Deals

Sky News is to provide thirty commercial radio stations across the UK with news bulletins after signing deals with The Wireless Group and Chrysalis Radio.

The deals will see Sky provide a bespoke news bulletin service to stations owned by The Wireless Group and Chrysalis Radio, including TalkSPORT and the Heart FM and Galaxy stations.

Radio First and the Digital News Network have also subscribed to the service, which from today will reach a combined audience of over 8.5 million.

Sky News is now the second biggest supplier of news to UK commercial radio stations, behind the ITN owned Independent Radio News (IRN), which provides bulletins to 260 radio stations across the country.
