Sky Sports To Screen Race Meetings

From May 20 Sky Sports intends to screen live race meetings two evenings a week, with plans to feature a race every fifteen minutes during each two-hour broadcast. The first race will begin at 7.15pm on the 20th and covers four races from Uttoxeter.

Sky Sports is the first British television station to broadcast evening horse racing, while Channel 4 monopolises the afternoon transmission, showing racing from 2.30pm to 4.00pm every week day.
