Sky Television is again attempting to block the use of unauthorised decoder cards, following the news in October that they were to take legal action against the pirates. (Newsline 22/10)
Sky has altered the stream of data from its satellite system to its subscribers, to try and prevent pirate cards from working. However, Satellite Decoding Systems, the company who import the unofficial decoder cards into the UK, say that the cards have not been affected by Sky’s action.
