Sky Television has secured the exclusive rights to England’s World Cup qualifying match with Italy. The match kicks off in Rome on Saturday 11 October.
Also included in the new TV deal are Italy’s matches with Moldova this Saturday and Poland on April 30. In addition, the network holds exclusive rights to England’s World Cup matches at home to Georgia on April 30 and Moldova on September 10.
Vic Wakeling, head of sports at Sky said: “This deal guarantees that the final dramatic moments of England’s World Cup qualifying campaign will be seen exclusively live on Sky Sports.”
