Southern Newspapers has launched into the magazine market by buying a specialist business publisher.
The group, which owns papers including the Southern Daily Echo in Southampton, has paid an undisclosed sum for MSM Publishing, publishers of specialist financial services magazines including Insurance Times and Portfolio International.
