Southern Evening Echo Revamp

Southern Evening Echo Revamp

Southern Newspaper’s Southern Evening Echo has changed its name to the title it launched with in 1888, the Southern Daily Echo. The Echo is also increasing its editorial by including more supplements

Wednesdays will have a lifestyle supplement called Living, Fridays will have a “what’s on guide” with a seven day television listings guide, as well as the existing motoring supplement Tuesdays will have a jobs supplement called Jobs World with listings from Job Centres and editorial on jobs. Saturdays will have a section called Take 5 aimed at children. The change of name reflects the fact that the paper is no longer an evening paper. The revamp intends to give the reader more editorial, both in the traditional news and more good and light news. Rates have increased and will be available on MediaTel shortly.
