Interim results for 6 months ending September 28th have today been announced for Southnews plc.
Profits before tax increased from £1.97 million in 1995 to £2.68 million, a percentage increase of thirty-six points. Revenues also increased, up 39% to a record £18.4 million (compared to £13.2 million for 1995).
Gareth Clark, Chairman of Southnews, said, “The Board believes that our plans for organic growth and linked acquisition benefits are proceeding well. Consequently, assuming a stable economic environment, we anticipate that the improvements made in the year to date will continue throughout the financial year.”
