Sport First, the UK’s only dedicated sports newspaper, has axed its Monday edition after only a month and a half. The paper will now return to being published only on Sundays.
The launch of the Monday edition in May (see Sport First To Publish Monday Edition) was part of Sport First‘s plans to become a seven day publication. However, the Monday edition has now been dropped in preparation for a large push to coincide with the start of the new football season in August.
Plans for the paper’s expansion are to be released next week.
