Sports Sponsorship Code Introduced
The Institute of Sports Sponsorship has issued a Code of Conduct, which it hopes will become the standard for all companies involved in sports sponsorship.
The 10 point code asks that companies consider the long-term effects of sponsorship; that they do not undertake programme sponsorship unless it has been offered first to the event sponsor; and that they encourage high levels of sporting achievement.
