Stylist goes digital-first with bumper tablet edition

Free women’s fashion magazine Stylist has announced that its first glossy special for tablet will launch today – 24 hours ahead of the printed edition.

Signalling a digital-first drive, the free-to-download issue is made up of 105 pages of luxury editorial focusing on upcoming autumn/winter trends – the biggest digital issue Stylist has ever released – alongside 20 pages of advertising from fashion brands inclusing Coach, Calvin Klein and Kate Spade.

Stylist first launched its tablet edition in February 2014 and currently reaches 30,000 readers. Along with its free print edition, Stylist remains one of the best-performing magazines in the women’s lifestyle market – behind John Lewis Edition and ASOS.com – with an average monthly combined print and digital circulation of 436,000.

“The tablet edition has become a central part of our publishing strategy in the last six months since launch,” said Mike Soutar, CEO of Stylist publisher Shortlist Media.

Stylist’s brilliant and award-winning journalism really comes alive in a format which has grown to become the most downloaded women’s title on the newsstand.

“We’re excited to be innovating once more with this edition available to download a full day ahead of the release of the paper edition.”
