Brown Bear Publishing has now launched its online “newsstand” site where Internet users can browse a variety of magazines and buy subscriptions to the titles.
The site, which can be found at http://www.subscriptions.co.uk, features magazines from the sport and fitness, teenage, travel, music and fashion markets. Daniel Squirrel, chief executive of Brown Bear, told Newsline that more magazines will be added to the site as it develops.
Users can read a short summary of each title and then add it to their virtual “shopping basket”. Orders for subscriptions can then be made over the Web.
