The troubled Sunday Business is in the process of a restructure after an accountant was appointed to evaluate the financial stability of the venture which launched in April. As reported in Newsline (12/06) the paper applied for administration by the courts and now has 90 days in which to organise its finances and secure new backers.
The ad sales department is part of the focus for the paper’s restructure. Gaby Fireman, previously ad manager, and Charles Kerr both become ad sales directors and are currently in the process of recruiting new staff. Dorothy Cumpsty was the ad sales director for the paper’s launch but she left the title at the beginning of May.
