T3 Targets Seasonal Shoppers In Run Up To Christmas

Future Publishing’s leading technology title, T3, is to target seasonal shoppers in the run up to Christmas with the launch of a series of special in-store mini magazines and an integrated marketing campaign.

The brand awareness raising initiative comes less than a week after the publisher secured a deal with The Independent to produce a four part series of mini-magazines for the paper over the coming weeks (see Future To Produce Mini Magazines For The Independent).

The follow-up push will see 600,000 mini T3 magazines distributed in-store at John Lewis and Blaupunkt outlets, as well as at electronic retailer, ASK. The 16-page title will also be distributed with subscriber copies of a selection of Future Publishing magazines, as well as at various shows and on board the Eurostar.

In addition to the mini magazines T3 will further be supported by a radio advertising campaign on Virgin Radio and a series of point-of-sale promotions at selected outlets across the country.

Commenting on the initiative, Simon Maxwell, publisher of T3, said: “The main objective of this promotional activity is to raise awareness of T3 as an accessible gadget magazine amongst a highly targeted audience.”

He continued: “The T3 mini-mags are perfect not only for raising T3’s profile but also as a source of inspiration for shoppers, travellers or subscribers to other Future magazines in the run up to Christmas.”

Future Publishing recently secured Wilkinson Sword to promote the launch of its new four blade razor on technology website T3.co.uk (see Future Publishing Secures Wilkinson Sword For T3 Deal).
