Talk Radio Awarded Commercial Station Of The Year At CRCA Awards
Commercial radio station of the year was awarded to Talk Radio at this afternoon’s Commercial Radio Companies Association (CRCA) Congress and Awards ceremony.
The award for technical excellence was given to Capital Interactive for its work on the network of Capital websites. The judges said that the Capital work “was a great example of the use of new technology to enhance a station’s service to listeners.”
Rachel Faulkner of FM 102 The Bear was awarded local sales person of the year, and Brent Coulson of Capital Advertising was given the national salesperson of the year award.
CRCA’s chief executive, Paul Brown, said: “These awards celebrate our art, craft and business skills and we were once again delighted by the quality of the entries and our second year of partnership with KPMG, the awards sponsor.”
