Talk Radio Signs Steve Wright

Steve Wright is returning to national radio from November 11th. He has signed a deal with Talk Radio UK to present a Saturday morning programme called Steve Wright’s Talk Show, which will run from 1000 to 1300.

The shows, which will run until Easter, will include a similar style posse to that which he used to have on Radio One, as well as special guests and listeners views. Steve Wright commented, “On every radio station I have ever worked for they’ve told me I talk too much, so hopefully at Talk Radio UK I won’t be in too much trouble.”

Steve Wright, who left Radio One in April, has also recently signed a deal with the GWR group, to present a Sunday morning show. Steve Wright is the latest DJ to join Talk Radio’s new list of presenters following the shift away from the original “shock jock” tactics. These include Simon Bates, Trevor MacDonald, Jonathan King, and Jeremy Beadle.
