TalkSport Hire Jeremy Kyle

Jeremy Kyle is set to host a weekly programme on TalkSport, called the Jeremy Kyle’s Sports Show, from September this year.

The presenter currently hosts his own daily talk-show on ITV1 at 9.25am, discussing and debating problems with guests.

Kyle is due to present a Sunday show between 12pm and 2pm on TalkSport, which promises to deal with topics and debates that will be “sure to put fire in the nation’s belly”.

Moz Dee, programme director at TalkSport, said: “TalkSport has built its record audience on the personalities of its presenters and I’m sure those who love Jeremy on TV will enjoy listening to him on the radio.”

Kyle has previously presented radio shows for stations such as Virgin Radio and Birmingham’s BRMB.

The latest Rajar figures, which were released on Thursday, show that TalkSport currently has around 2.4 million listeners, up 0.5% year on year (see BBC Radio 2 Weekly Reach Declines But Still On Top).
