TalkSPORT Secures EA Games For Sponsorship Deal

TalkSPORT has secured a major advertising deal with video-game group, EA Games, to promote its new releases in the run up to the Christmas period.
The games will be promoted throughout the September to December period and will include the new FIFA Football 2004 title and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004. The sponsorship will run across talkSPORT’s breakfast and afternoon programming in a deal worth £250,000.
The agreement was negotiated by Matt Wilson, sponsorship and promotions executive of talkSPORT’s sales house, Impact, who commented: “TalkSPORT is serious about games and gamers and we are delighted to attract the market-leading games manufacturer to the station.”
Adam Roland, sponsorship controller at Impact, added: “We are delighted to welcome EA Sports as a new partner to talkSPORT. The integrated, bespoke packages will allow EA Sports to access, communicate and speak with an audience of sport loving gamers.”
TalkSPORT recently secured Citroen for a week long promotion to highlight the car manufacturer’s new Berlingo van (see TalkSPORT Secures Citroen For New Berlingo Promotion).
