TalkSPORT Secures Xerox For Golf Sponsorship Deal
![]()
TalkSPORT has secured Xerox to sponsor its golf coverage in a six-figure deal negotiated by its sales house, Impact.
The campaign will feature ad spots throughout the day and as part of the sponsorship, Xerox will be asking listeners to share their funniest office stories.
The deal was brokered by Jess Williams of Total Sponsorship and Matt Wilson, sponsorship executive at talkSPORT’s sales house Impact.
Commenting on the deal, Wilson said: “talkSPORT’s golf coverage has earned a reputation as being above par and Xerox know that they will reach their target of business decision makers by sponsoring these events.”
The Xerox deal marks another success for the new sponsorship and promotion team at Impact, where talkSPORT revenues are up 35% for the first quarter of this year.
In yesterday’s year end financial results, talkSPORT’s parent company, The Wireless Group, reported a 74.8% reduction in operating losses (see Wireless Group Cuts Losses Despite Poor Markets).
