TalkTalk unveils YouView packages

TalkTalk has unveiled its YouView package, which includes a free YouView box.

TalkTalk Plus phone and broadband customers will get the connected TV box with no additional TV subscription – bringing on-demand, catch-up services and the ability to buy premium sports and films on a flexible basis to TalkTalk households.

The TalkTalk Plus TV combination offers TV, broadband and telephone services with a free YouView box for £14.50 a month plus £9.50 line-rental and a one-off installation fee of £50.

TalkTalk Plus TV also includes a 12 months subscription to LOVEFiLM Instant, worth £59, giving access to LOVEFiLM films on-demand.

The launch of YouView from TalkTalk will mean that TalkTalk customers can watch more than 100 digital television and radio channels while enjoying the benefits of having a PVR. Not only can they watch in HD but they can also record, pause and rewind live TV and scroll back through TalkTalk’s EPG to find programmes they have missed over the past seven days.
