TDI To Re-brand As Viacom Outdoor
UK advertising group TDI and its sister operations in Europe are to re-launch under a new corporate identity as Viacom Outdoor.
The group, which became part of the Viacom media and entertainment consortium last year, will re-brand on July 1 with offices throughout the UK, France, Italy, Spain, Holland and Ireland taking on the new company name and logo. Trade press ads, a redesigned web site and extensive marketing activity will push the new company identity which will involve the re-branding of over 110,000 sites across Europe.
Chief executive of European operations, Tom Goddard said: “This is a significant strategic move for TDI and the Viacom group of companies. The power of the Viacom brand in Europe will be of great benefit to us in the outdoor market.”
Viacom Outdoor in Europe, which sells roadside, rail, bus, tram and street furniture advertising will be merged with TDI which deals with transport advertising. It is hoped the move will pave the way for future expansion across the company’s European portfolio.
