Telegraph Launches 96/97 Fantasy League

Electronic Telegraph, the online equivalent of The Daily Telegraph, launches Fantasy Football League Online 96/97 on September 19. The online league is based on the print version but is more visual and interactive. Users choose a squad of 17 players and are allowed a fantasy budget of £55 million. Managers can select the team’s colours and can make a transfer at any time (up to six transfers are allowed).

The league is sponsored by Littlewoods Pools and costs £10 for entry with no closing date. The successful manager will receive £4,000 plus tickets for the Cup Final. Full colour advertising will run in Loaded, Wired, Eat Soup *(First Issue Review – Eat Soup), PC Adviser, The Web and .net.
