Telegraph Launches New Business Supplement

Telegraph Launches New Business Supplement

The Daily Telegraph is expanding its existing business coverage with the launch of a new weekly appointment supplement, Business 2 + Jobs.

The new supplement will come with Thursday’s edition of the paper and will launch with a mix of business news and jobs. It will be supported by a national advertising campaign including radio activity, 48-sheet posters, point of sale and direct marketing.

The supplement will be edited by former city editor of The Birmingham Post, Richard Tyler, who commented: “Business 2 + Jobs provides a great opportunity for The Daily Telegraph to explore the issues affecting our business readers in more depth than our daily deadlines allow.”

Tyler will oversee the additional two pages of business coverage in The Daily Telegraph, which will include new in depth analysis of the business stories making the headlines, plus a new satirical look at the business world.

The supplement will target those looking to move jobs, as well as those interested in business news and analysis. It will be printed on pink paper to make it stand out from the rest of the title.

Commenting on the new supplement, Mark Payne, commercial director of the Telegraph Group, said: “The new supplement is an outstanding example of the Telegraph’s ongoing commitment to invest in areas of strong reader interest.I am convinced we will see a positive response from both our readers and advertisers.”

Telegraph.co.uk recently created an online promotional campaign with the Savoy Group offering readers the chance to win a range of luxurious prizes and exclusive offers (see Telegraph Secures Savoy Group For Online Campaign).
