Telegraph Sponsors South Bank Show
The Telegraph has linked up with LWT’s South Bank Show in a sponsorship deal thought to be worth around £1m.
The two-year contract begins next month when the programme returns for a new series as part of ITV’s new programme schedule. It is believed that reader offers will be run around the personalities featured on the show.
The deal was put together by Matthew Howells, The Telegraph’s ad controller, Media Factor and Laser Sales and is part of an aggressive marketing push by The Telegraph. It sponsored the last series of ITV’s Kavanagh QC, has run competitive direct marketing campaigns and has launched a voucher scheme offering Monday’s Daily Telegraph for 10p.
