Teletext Audience Figures

New audience figures for Teletext, available on ITV and Channel 4, claim to have attracted the highest weekly and daily audience since the system was first launched in 1978.

The weekly audience stands at 13.8m adults, representing an increase of 29% on figures published in December 1991. The daily audience is 8.1m, a 27% increase on the preceding 15 months.
