Media communications specialist, Tempus Group, has posted pre-tax profit of £7.2 million for the six months to 30 June 1999, up 13% on the same period last year. Turnover at the company grew by 18% to £706 million.
New business wins totalled £305 million, up 125% on 1998. These included a contract with automotive company, DaimlerChrysler, which is Tempus’ largest ever client. Chairman Chris Ingram says that the advertising market is looking ‘robust’ and is continuing to grow in real terms.
