Ten Year Deal For Adshel
![]()
Adshel Scotland has secured a ten year contract to provide bus shelters and poster sites for Edinburgh’s largest shopping centre.
The company has been awarded the advertising rights for 16 ‘metropolis’ bus shelters, the first to be built in the UK, and 20 six-sheet poster sites. Installation will begin in September and six of the shelters will form two covered walkways in front of the shopping centre’s main entrance.
In return for maintaining the sites Adshel will receive a guaranteed annual income from the owners of the £100m Ocean Terminal development which opens in October.
Managing director of Adshel, Julie France, said: “This is a high profile win which considerably enhances our presence in Edinburgh. We anticipate high demand for advertising space at Ocean Terminal.”
Adshel also won a £3.6m contract to install street furniture in Edinburgh after a two-way pitch against French company, JCDecaux in March.
