💰Stagwell reported Q4 revenue grew 2% year on year to $807m, with full year revenue also growing 2% to $2.9bn. The challenger agency group has also partnered with AppLovin to bring its advanced mobile ad platform, Axon, to Stagwell’s media offering. (Stagwell)

❎ A proposed ban on social media for under-16s has been rejected by MPs in a 307-173 vote. However, a ban could still materialise in the future after the Commons supported a government attempt to give additional powers to the secretary of state. (The Guardian)

➡️ Bluesky CEO Jay Graber has stepped down from her role and will move into a new position as the microblogging site’s chief innovation officer. Toni Schneider, former CEO of WordPress parent Automattic and partner at venture capital fund True Ventures, has been appointed interim CEO. (Bluesky)

🤖 Liverpool and Manchester United have complained to Elon Musk’s X after the Grok AI feature made offensive posts about Diogo Jota and the Hillsborough and Munich disasters. X generated these posts when users asked the AI tool to make hateful posts about the two football teams. (The Guardian)

🏦 Meta is asking advertisers to cover the costs of digital services taxes in select European countries, beginning 1 July. The levies are imposed on local sales made by tech firms. (Bloomberg)

🗞️DMG Media has launched a subscription bundle for its B2B partners to access Daily Mail+, The i Paper and New Scientist. Bought individually, the titles are worth over £400 annually, but by using Stack, partners can offer access to their customers at wholesale rates. (DMG Media)

🎧 BBC Studios has appointed Bauer Media Audio to sell advertising across its podcasts in the European markets of Denmark, Finland, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia and Sweden. Advertising will be sold through Bauer’s digital marketplace AudioXi. (Radio Today)

🔃 Meta has acquired Moltbook, the viral social network purportedly designed for AI agents to interact with one another. The deal brings Moltbook’s founders, Matt Schlict and Ben Parr, into Meta’s Superintelligence Labs. (Axios)
