The Business To Sponsor Sky’s Financial Reports

Sky News has secured weekly financial paper, The Business, as the sponsor of its market report bulletin, The Financial Report.

The sponsorship agreement, negotiated by Sponsorcom, will give The Business a ten second opening and five second closing credit around each bulletin.

The Financial Report is a 30-second news bulletin which broadcasts five times a day from Monday to Friday. It features major movements in share prices and in international stock indices together with foreign exchange news and rates.

These bulletins are watched by ABC1 viewers throughout Europe, the middle east and Africa and provide an ideal vehicle for us to reach our target audience- upmarket, affluent and financially aware.”

The Business was in focus today following reports that the Barclay Brothers are seeking a management buy-out for the title. However, these reports were vehemently denied by the paper’s publisher, Andrew Neil (see Barclay Brothers Set To Sell The Business).
