The FT Does Business With .net magazine
The two Pearson owned publications, The Financial Times and .net magazine, have announced two new joint publishing ventures. This decision comes following the success of Doing Business Online; the first magazine produced and distributed in December 1996 by the two publications.
The Financial Times and .net magazine will now be producing two further editions to their December publication. The first of these magazines will focus on finance and will be distributed with The Financial Times on June 4 1997. The second will concentrate on retail and is to be inserted into the paper on 6 November 1997.
The editorial team will include leading business journalists from the FT and Internet experts at .net. The aim is to create magazines that offer practical advice to businesses using the Internet. The sales team will also be made up of individuals from the two publications.
.net’s publisher, David Roberts commented: “The Internet is going to be very high on the agenda of UK businesses in 1997and no other publishing collaboration can give such a strong penetration into that market.”
