The Future 100 class of 2023 revealed

The Future 100 Club Class of 2023 has been revealed after a record number of entries and it paints a very bright future for talent in our industry.

Over 100 different media agencies, media owners, advertisers and tech businesses from across the media ecosystem were all represented from over 200 entries, handing our panel of esteemed judges the unenviable task of selecting this year’s cohort.

The Media Leader’s editor-in-chief Omar Oakes sat on that panel of judges and experienced first-hand just how difficult it was to make the final cut in a result that really came down to the finest of margins.

Oakes said: “I feel woefully inadequate after reading these entries. Learning about the strength of character, determination and achievements from this industry’s rising stars is nothing short of inspiring and humbling.

“The future of media and advertising remains very strong if we can empower this industry’s next generation of leaders to build on their successes and their enthusiasm.”

Once again, The Future 100 set out to create and bring together the most diverse group of professionals from across the media ecosystem. Unlike other groupings of rising stars or future leaders lists, there was no barrier or discrimination based on age, time spent in the industry, or current job title. The judges were asked to assess the entrants on their evidence of displaying the core values of disruption, innovation, courage and excellence.

The Class of 2023 come from some of the most influential media organisations and advertisers in the industry, including Alight Media, Aviva, Boots UK, Condé Nast, DAX by Global, Dentsu, Digital Cinema Media, Essencemediacom, Finecast, Formula 1, Havas Media Group UK, Hearst, InfoSum, Initiative, Kantar, LG Ads, LinkedIn, LiveRamp UK, Mail Metro Media, Media.Monks, MG OMD, Microsoft Advertising, Mindshare, MiQ, Mobsta, mSix&Partners, OMD UK, PHD Media UK, Publicis Media UK, Samsung Ads, Spark Foundry UK, Starcom UK, Talon, The Coca-Cola Company, The Guardian, The Independent, The Sun, Thinkbox, Wavemaker, Xaxis, and Zenith UK.

To celebrate this achievement, we are inviting all 100 inductees to attend a special three-hour conference on October 12 as part of our Future of Media event. We have a brilliant line-up of speakers including former Love Island contestant Michael Griffiths.

A huge thank you to everyone who nominated or entered, and a massive congratulations to The Class of 2023.
